Most conversations in the bar begin something like this:
Your name?
My name is Peter.
From where?
I’m American but now I live in Vietnam.
What drink?
I don’t drink alcohol. I just have Oolong Tea.

バーでの会話は、たいていこんな感じで始まります：

お酒は飲めません。ウーロン茶だけ飲んでます。

The English isn’t perfect, but we understand each other. The hard part is getting started. Once we break the ice, we find ways to keep the conversation going.
